Event Description

Sri Vyasaraja Matha (Sosale), Kumbhakonam is organizing the Maha Samprokshana Kumbhabhisheka in connection with the completion of renovation and re-consecration of the Matha premises. This sacred event includes Kumbhabhisheka to the Sannidhana of Sri Moola Gopala Krishna, Sri Mukhyaprana, and the Pratishta of Mrittika Brindavanas of Sri Vyasaraja Tirtha and Sri Raghavendra Swamigalu.

The Mahotsava will be conducted from 5th to 7th February 2026, in the divine presence and under the guidance of H.H. Sri 1008 Sri Vidyashreesha Tirtha Swamiji, Peethadhipati of Sri Vyasaraja Matha (Sosale). The programme includes Vedic rituals such as Prarthana, Punyaha Vachana, Pratishtapana Homas, Veda Parayana, Maha Samsthana Pooja, Anna-Daana, and spiritual discourses by learned scholars.

Devotees are earnestly invited to participate in this auspicious occasion, receive the divine blessings, and support the sacred activities through seva and anna-dana, thereby becoming part of this historic spiritual event.

Maha Samprokshana Kumbhabhisheka Day
This is the most auspicious and principal day of the Mahotsava.
Major rituals include:
- Sri Vishnu Gayatri Japa
- Narayana Ashtakshara Moola Mantra Homa
- Sri Hari-Vayu Stuti Homa
- Panchamruta Abhisheka
- Maha Samprokshana Kumbhabhisheka to the Sannidhana of Sri Moola Gopala Krishna, Sri Mukhyaprana, and Moola Brindavanas
- Pratishta of Mrittika Brindavanas of Sri Vyasaraja Tirtha and Sri Raghavendra Swamigalu

The rituals are conducted in the divine presence of H.H. Sri 1008 Sri Vidyashreesha Tirtha Swamiji with Vedic chanting by 108 Ritviks.
